This Privacy Policy explains what information Trelonce Digital LLC ("we", "us") collects when you use belittle.ai (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed the Service to collect only what it needs to work.
1. What we collect
- Account data — your email address, display name, avatar (if you set one), and account settings.
- Conversation data — the messages you exchange with characters, conversation summaries, and per-character "memories" the Service keeps so characters can remember you. Memory content is encrypted at rest.
- Payment metadata - our approved payment processor handles card details through a hosted checkout. We never receive or store full card numbers; we receive only metadata such as subscription status, plan, and transaction identifiers.
- Technical data — basic logs needed to run and secure the Service (timestamps, request metadata, error events). Our operational logs are structured metadata and do not contain the text of your conversations.
We do not collect government IDs, and we do not knowingly collect any data from minors — the Service is restricted to adults 18+.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service: generating character responses, keeping conversation history and character memory, syncing your settings.
- To operate billing for paid subscriptions.
- To keep the Service safe: enforcing our Content Policy, preventing abuse, and debugging failures.
- To contact you about your account (for example, email confirmation or important service notices).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your conversations for advertising.
3. Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers to run the Service:
- Supabase — hosting of our database and authentication (account data, conversations, encrypted memories).
- OpenRouter — routing of chat messages to large language model providers to generate character responses. Messages sent for generation are processed as conversation data, not linked to your email by the provider.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (for example, signup confirmation).
- Payment processor - the specialist payment provider approved for belittle.ai will process payments under its own privacy policy and will be named on the Pricing page before checkout is enabled.
These providers process data on our behalf and under contracts that restrict their use of it.
4. Retention and deletion
- Your conversations and memories are kept while your account exists so characters can remember you.
- You can delete individual conversations and memories in the app, and you can delete your entire account from your account settings. Account deletion removes your account data, conversations, and memories from the production database.
- Backups and minimal billing records may persist for a limited period where the law requires it.
5. Security
Access to production data is restricted. Character memory content is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) with key rotation support. Data in transit is protected by TLS.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the app; for anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Changes
We will announce material changes to this policy on the Service before they take effect.
